Statistical Interactive Database
In 2004 BankSearch’s innovative team of economists and software engineers used cutting-edge technology to develop the Statistical Interactive Database.
The Statistical Interactive Database is widely used by institutions such as the Bank of England and the Council of Mortgage Lenders to deliver financial statistics to users. Long runs of time series information can be found using key word search, advanced search and A to Z lists. Excel reports can also be downloaded.
BankSearch developed … “a thing of wonder”…
The Bank of England has now leapt ahead. Its Statistical Interactive Database is a thing of wonder, allowing drilldown to a huge number of statistics which can then be exported in several formats, including XML. This means they can be automatically fed to an RSS reader (a sort of personal newswire service), so that professionals get the figures as they are published. Modern stuff.
