In their latest review of Small Business Finance Markets the British Business Bank explains why BankSearch’s Business Start-up Data is valuable…

BankSearch statistics, which cover the opening of new business bank accounts, potentially offer a fuller picture of earlier start-up activity. BankSearch data, in contrast to ONS data, indicate that the number of new starts fell in 2014, continuing the trend since the 2011 peak, with levels lower than those recorded in 2010.

BankSearch works with all the main high street banks to gather company formation data across the UK and to provide our subscribers with accurate, useful and timely information about the number of Business Start-ups in their area.

On a monthly basis they receive:

  • Trends Reports – summary Word documents highlighting the main movements in start-up activity
  • Excel spreadsheets – a standard set of reports analysing new formations by different factors;
  • Access to our Business Start-up Interactive Database where they can use our user-friendly and intuitive Dynamic Statistics (online Business Intelligence tool), Charting and Mapping tools to create their own reports and delve deeper into the data.

We are delighted that the British Business Bank and all of our clients find the data so helpful.  If you would like to learn more about BankSearch’s Business Start-up Data Service then please do not hesitate to contact us or request a demo.
