January and February saw 11.8% more businesses started up in Wandsworth than the corresponding period last year, according to latest data from a BankSearch survey.
In Wandsworth 321 new businesses started up in February 2011, 11 fewer than the previous month.
However, Wandsworth’s rate of growth of new business start-ups was slower than across London as a whole which grew at the stronger rate of 17.4%.
