This year, BankSearch is delighted to be supporting Amelia Anderson, in her bid for the summit of Africa’s highest peak: Mount Kilimanjaro.  Amelia is fund raising for the charity Centrepoint.

In this last year alone 80,000 young people in the UK experienced homelessness.

Centrepoint gives homeless young people a chance to turn their lives around, build firm foundations and prepare for a future where they realise their potential.  Amelia visited several of the Centrepoint service centres in Soho to learn more about their inspiring work and to see for herself how the charity supports over 1,200 young people a year in London and the North East.

Everyone at BankSearch wishes Amelia a safe and exhilarating trip for this tremendously worthwhile cause.

“You have to really, really, REALLY want to make it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, but when you do reach the roof of Africa at 5,895m, the views are magnificent!!!! Now back at 3,700m, so feeling significantly better. Great team, fantastic guides; an absolutely extraordinary experience! About to have a ‘washy-washy’ but looking forward to a proper shower tomorrow :). Thanks again to everyone who supported Centrepoint. Amelia. x”
